PASTOR ROGER WHITE
Dr. Roger M. White, AFBC’s Senior Pastor, is known as a man of prayer, great conviction, and a preacher of God’s Word. He has been serving churches in Alabama as pastor for over 39 years in DeKalb, St. Clair and Winston Counties.
He has worked with local Associations and with the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions Evangelism Department in planning and putting on events such as car shows and turkey rodeos, as well as other events to reach people for the cause of Christ.
He is also well-versed in music, learning to play several instruments while growing up in a musical family. From Southern Gospel to Bluegrass and many genre in between, music is an important part of his life and ministry.
Mrs. Katherine White, aka “Sweetie,” is also a vital part of the White’s ministry at AFBC as she is such a big encourager while serving in many different mission and discipleship capacities. Dr. Roger and Mrs. Katherine have 2 children and 3 grandchildren.
